Short Documentary

Jenna Collins lives in Meigs county, Ohio, where she is a mother to three children, one of whom, Paisley, was diagnosed at birth with Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLS). CdLS is a rare genetic condition that occurs in 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 50,000 births in the United States, according to an article by the Cleveland Clinic. This disorder can cause a range of symptoms, including physical, medical, and cognitive difficulties. Initially, Jenna had a difficult time coming to terms with her daughter Paisley's diagnosis. Now, Jenna's life is focused on her kids, and feels she has no other identity other than "mother." But while Jenna said she did not expect this life, she now lives for her children.
